On March 8, the Day Without a Woman strike encouraged women to stay home from their jobs or school, avoid spending moneyand participate in rallies held around the country.

But even those who were unable to participate physically stood in solidarity by wearing the color red and thankfully, theyve been sharing their red lookson social media.

Women of all ages sported red lipstick, red shoes, red dresses, and our personal favorite, an outfit with (at least) 5 different shades of red.

Admire and take inspiration from these bold women below, and share your own photos now.

Happy International Women's Day, y'all. Keep fighting, keeping growing, keep learning, keep supporting each other, and keep it intersectional. Show up for trans women and women of colour and butch women and femme women and gay women and bi women and fat women and skinny women and elderly women and poor women and women coping with the trauma of abuse and women with disabilities and women struggling with their mental health. Women who like to show a lot of skin and women who like to show no skin at all. Women who want to be stay at home moms and women who want to be titans of industry. Women who like wearing a ton of makeup and women who prefer to wear none. Women who choose not to have sex and women who have a lot of it. 'Cause (all) females are strong as hell, and together we will rise! #feminism #wecandoit #daywithoutawoman

(At least) 5 shades of red. And off to a job interview. That's not really working, is it. Also a fantastic reason to wear the little red resistance cape. Also – red #knitting ftw #iwd #daywithoutawoman #resisterhood #craftivism

I am and will always be, a Nasty Woman. Some of us don't have the ability to miss work, because we are women who support ourselves and our families and do so with everything we got.
