Paint On A Canvas Using Bubbles With This Easy DIY Art Project

Summer is right around the corner, which means the kids are going to need some activities to fill their free schedules. While we grown-ups wish we had the luxury of so much vacation that we had the time to get bored (imagine!), its a good idea to stock up on project ideas to entertain the young ones over their summer vacation months.

This bubble art idea from Blitsy is a fun and easy project to do with the kids and you dont even need to stock up on specialty items. All you need for this Blitsy project isfood coloring, bubble solution with bubble wand, and a piece of canvas (or thick stock paper), and youre good to go.

First, add a few drops of food coloring to the bubble mix, and stir it up with the wand. Then, have the kids start blowing bubbles just make sure they aim at the canvas. Let the canvas dry, and voila: a work of art! The Blitsy video demonstrates this project outside, but if you do it inside, just make sure to cover up any areas in the splash zone!

If you need more arts and crafts ideas, this bird feeder made out of toilet paper rolls (or paper towel rolls) may get a weemessy with the little ones, but theyll have a blast seeing the birds flock to their works of art. For kids that are a little older, this yarn bracelet project is another great way to repurpose old toilet paper rolls.
